Rental Policy

AGE OF THE DRIVER
Minimum age of drivers must be at least 23 years old. There is no limitation on maximum age as long as a valid license exist.

DRIVER’S LICENSE
Drivers must own a driver license for at least 2 year. National Driving Licenses issued in European Union, United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, US, Switzerland, Australia, are accepted. In any other case drivers must hold an International Driver License.

TRAFFIC FINES AND VIOLATIONS
The renter is responsible for any traffic ticket and any traffic fine which is received during rental period. The renter should inform the car rental company about any traffic violation until the end of the rental period (contract).

MILEAGE
All prices include unlimited mileage. There is no limitation and no extra cost for the kilometers made during rental period.

TAXES
All rates are subjected in 24% Taxes VAT. All prices are final and there are no other extra and local taxes.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Except the main driver, is possible one (1) additional driver can be registered. The cost is 3€/day.

ROAD ASSISTANCE
Road assistance is available 24 hours/day, without any charge. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, is recommended to contact immediately our office.

SELECTION OF PARTICULAR CAR BRAND OR MODEL
All car groups include different car models with similar features and characteristics. If you prefer a specific car model, you can request it. We will notice your preference and we will deliver the specific model, if it is available on the day of your arrival. If the car is unavailable, we will supply you with a similar model from the same group or higher group without any charge.

CAR REPLACEMENT
In case of the event of an accident or a breakdown, your vehicle will be replaced within 24 hours from the time that the renter will report it to the company. The company has always the right to investigate and deny the replacement in case the use of the car was not according to the terms and conditions.

BABY SEAT AND BOOSTER SEAT
The company offers baby seats and booster seats for the safety of your children. All passengers must wear the seat belt. A general rule is that the seat belt should be to the height of the neck of your child.

NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES ON FLIGHT DELAYS
The company will not charge any amount for a possible flight delay. Furthermore, all of our staff are informed during the day for all flight delays and will wait for you.

MODERN AND SAFE VEHICLES
The company always provide new modern vehicles. The company guarantee that will provide you a well maintained and in excellent condition car.

FUEL POLICY
The renter needs to return the vehicle with the same amount of petrol as delivered.

KEY LOSS
The renter is totally responsible for the cost to keys that have been damaged or lost.

TYRES DAMAGES
Tyres that are burst or not repairable are not covered by the insurance. In case that the tyre is repairable, the company is obliged to cover all the cost.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There is no cancellation fee for your booked car. However, it will be easier for us to know as soon as possible, so we can rebuild our reservation plan.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION OF VEHICLES
Our company can deliver and collect cars from any place in Crete, as all airports, all ports and any hotel around the island. In case you can not find the place/hotel you prefer, you can add “Your preferred address” in the pick up & drop off location and our team will contact with you, to specify the exact address.

FERRYING THE VEHICLE & ACROSS THE BORDER RENTALS
Is not allowed to ferry the vehicle to and from any island or mainland. All insurances will be cancelled and the renter will be responsible for all damages in case the car is driven elsewhere than Crete island.

MODIFY A BOOKING
The renter can modify a reservation many times through website on “Modify Reservation” that can find on the footer of the page. The company will contact the soonest and confirm your request if is possible to be done.

RENTAL EXTENSION
In case you already picked up your car and wish to extend you booking, you need to contact directly to the company in the number 0030 6974261481 to check if this is possible.

ACCIDENT
If an accident happened, doesn’t matter if it’s your responsibility or not, the renter must contact immediately the company in the mob number 0030 6974261481. During night that the office is closed, all calls are being forward automatically to an emergency mobile number. The renter is not allowed to go away the incident place and not report the event. If this happened, the renter is obliged to pay for all the repairing costs caused to the vehicle.

In any case if the other vehicle that was involved in the accident, try to leave, take some photos of the other vehicle and the plate number. Our company will contact with our insurance company to get an accident report.

USE OF CAR
The renter is obliged to use the vehicle in an appropriate way. All insurance coverings are valid in case the renter obey with all terms & conditions. In any other case that the rental vehicle is not used by the proper way, the renter is obliged to cover all repairing costs of any damage caused to it.

• The vehicle must be driven in asphalt road only. Non-authorized or non-asphalt, dirt off-road (eg. Balos) is forbidden.
• The renter must obey to the parking and traffic rules, as speed limit, U-turns are not allowed, stop signs).
• The driver can not drive the car under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
• Non-authorized persons are forbidden of driving the vehicles.
• The renter cause damage to the vehicle willfully or recklessly, as sitting on the roof of the car, damages to the interior of the car, burning the clutch.
